Warren Heylman founded Warren Cummings Heylman + Partners Architects when, upon his return from the Korean War, he could not find satisfactory employment in other architecture firms in Spokane. Warren still comes into our office several mornings a week, largely to work on his own projects, and to continue to impart his deep experience and knowledge to us. Sometimes we don’t want to hear it, but it never goes unheard. It never goes unheeded. Our firm, while under the nearly fifty years of direction from Warren Heylman, has been the recipient of many local and regional AIA awards for excellence in design.
