As the earliest US Army outpost on the West Coast, the 1850’s era Officer’s Quarters at Fort Walla Walla offer a unique historical perspective.  With great care, the rehabilitation and adaptive re-use of these original structures will meet the requirements of the State’s Historical Preservation Office and the National Park Service.  Four revitalized Officers’ buildings as well as two context-sensitive new structures will make up the project’s forty apartment units for homeless veterans and their families.  Developed by Catholic Charities of Spokane.
